What better topic to cover than young Croatian designers’ international acknowledgments. This time round good news has arrived in regard to a product design bearing a Croatian signature! The manufacturing of an amazing new product has started. It’s called the “Oblo” (The Round) and is designed by Marko Pavlović. Furthermore, yet another international award in a string of awards has been conferred to students from the Zagreb School of Design.

We covered the “Oblo” project a year ago when the author had an exhibit at the Croatian Designers’ Society. The “Oblo” is a didactic toy for which the author has already received numerous awards. Marko was represented within the framework of the CDS’ award winners’ exhibition 0708. He presented himself with his “idea/concept/product” exhibition. Now you can get this original and fun toy even in far-away Canada for $ 45.
