After a somewhat inglorious, one might even say unlucky year for architects, mainly due to their unpopularity with the general public following the Venice Biennale floating pavilion debacle, but also due to differences of opinion in view of the Varšavska Street case, coupled with a difficult economic period which additionally imposed hardships on this profession, architects have at long last landed their very own song. So if you’ve had enough of architects and their projects, now they’re bound to be music to your ears.
Be it serendipity or not, the young Split band Leut Magnetik presented their new single entitled the Architect. As the team from the band explains, their newest song is dedicated to young and old architects alike who haven’t lost their ideals. The single is backed up by a video created by young video artist Branka Valjin. Cast a glance downward to take a look at the video and listen to the song. This single is the announcement for Leut Magnetik’s new material and sound following a three-year hiatus. The song was recorded in collaboration with Hrvoje Pelicarić.
If the Leuts are to be believed, architects are on a mission to change the world.
Only time will tell!
