Pogledaj.to Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Architectural Realizations in 2010

A few weeks ago, in view of the CAA’s Annual Awards nominee roster – i.e. Croatian architects’ works realized in 2010, we published a survey inviting Pogledaj.to readers to choose their favorites, the past year’s best realizations according to them. Thanks to everyone who voted!

The most successful ptojects, according to the site’s readers who voted, are the Primary School Veli Vrh in Pula (Randić-Turato architects), Two Houses in Bratovići (Arhitektri) and the Monument to Kornati Firefighters on the Island of Kornat (Nikola Bašić).

Congratulations to the chosen projects and architects, while the luckiest readers who won Ivan Ruonik’s book “A Peripheral Moment“ are as follows: Mirna Malez, Jagoda Pevec Pale, Željko Radišić, Vedan Židanik, Margareta Juričić, Dragana Čakić, Mario Radioković, Tamara Marić , Darko Spačal i Ana Pranjić . Nominees for the annual “VIKTOR KOVAČIĆ” Award for the most successful architectural realization in 2010: Igor Franić, for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb , Mario Perossa, for the City Sports Hall Novigrad and Randić – Turato architects for the “Veli vrh”Primary School in Pula.

The nominees for the “Drago Galić” Award, for the most successful realizations in the field of residential architecture in 2010:

Marija Burmas and Ivo Lola Petrić for the Multi-residential POS structure in Vrgorac,  Tomislav Ćurković and Zoran Zidarić for their Family House Project in Zagreb, ARHITEKTRI (Rujana Bergam Marković, Boška Bahtijarević and Aleksandar Marković) for Two Houses in Bratovići in Istria, Andrija and Jasminka Rusan for the Dašekovo House in Gornja Podgoria and Nikola Popić for the Kosor House in Bol on the Island of Brač.

2. Family House Project, Zagreb 24 %

3. Kosor House, Bol, Island of Brač 18%

4. POS Vrgorac i Dašekovo House in Gornja Podgora 15%

The nominess for the “Bernardo Bernardi” Award, for the most successful realization in the field of shaping and interior decorating in 2010:

Helena Paver Njirić for the Moiré Installation in the MAXXI Museum in Rome, Nikola Bašić for the Monument to Kornati Firefighters on the Island of Kornat ,  The Pula Group for the Pula Film Festival Offices and Lea Pelivan and Toma Plejić, STUDIO UP for the Spectator Group Headquarters office building in Zagreb.
