

Split Talks – architectural talks, a professional architectural conference, was successfully launched on June 16th in the Cellars of Diocletian’s Palace in Split. The organizers of the conference, Darovan Tušek – Vice Dean of Architecture Studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Ivan Pavić – University of Split Rector, and Saša Randić – President of the Split Talks Organizing Committee and Editor-in-Chief of pogledaj.to, commenced by holding opening address’ in the packed cellar hall, one of the locations of the first Split Talks.


A series of lectures held by eminent domestic and European architects were launched by Hrvoje Njirić, a full professor at the FCEA, along with young Raalf Looke from the Estonian architectural studio Salto, while David Zahle from the Danish BIG concluded the first day of Split Talks with a fantastic lecture. Further details regarding their lectures along with their refreshing and original thoughts, ideas and reflections will soon be available on pogledaj.to, as the interviews our reporters held with all the lecturers of the first-ever Split Talks will be published shortly.







The first day of Split Talks, in addition to the lectures on architectural regulations which took place at the Split FCEA, included the following architects: Ricardo Camacho, Silvije Novak of 3LHD and Kees Kaan of Claus en Kaan Architecten.
